Emily Chapman has been riding for eight years and has earned multiple equestrian titles, including the 2008 UPHA Junior Challenge Cup Top Ten, 2011 UPHA Pleasure Challenge Cup Top Ten, 2011 National Pleasure Equitation Olympics Top Ten, 2011 UPHA Senior Challenge Cup Top Ten, 2011 USEF Saddle Seat Medal Final Top Ten, 2011 Saddle Seat Invitational Team Gold medalist, 2012 AHSA National Pleasure Equitation Champion, 2012 Pleasure Equitation Medallion Senior Finals Reserve Champion, and 2012 USEF Saddle Seat Medal Final Top Ten. Her current show horses are My One Night Stand, whom she shows in Senior Pleasure Equitation, and Show Material whom she shows in the Juvenile Three-Gaited division. Chapman’s favorite horse that she has owned is CH Timeless Drifter.

Chapman attends the University of Kentucky and when not competing, she enjoys working out, spending time with friends, reading, traveling, and eating good food. She is the daughter of Ted and Shannon Chapman.

Chapman states each of her trainers have been a significant influence to her. Her current trainer Cindy Boel has pushed her harder than anyone and has taught her to aim for perfection. When asked what competing in the Saddle Seat World Cup means to her, Chapman responded, “Being selected for the Trials was such an honor, being selected for the team is an absolute dream come true. It is the biggest accomplishment I have had in my riding career.”
